NOTICE
This is to notify all the staff and the students (DE Residential School Students) on the management of the Car Movement and Car Parking during the Winter Residential School Programme 2022-2023 at Paro College of Education.
Due to huge number of cars on the College campus during the Winter Residential School it may cause traffic congestion along the roadside and in the limited parking space. Therefore, the College Management decided to manage the car movement and the operation of the parking space as specified below for strict compliance:
1. Only College Staff and Visitors/Guests as existing practice will enter from the main gate and strictly park their cars in the College main parking lots w.e.f. 26th December, 2022 till the end of Winter Residential School (no cars will be parked along the roadside).
2. All DE Residential School Students and participants in any short courses offered by the College will park their cars in the College football ground w.e.f. 26th December, 2022 till the end of Winter Residential School as per the direction of the College Security Officials.
3. The DE Residential School Boarder Students will use Uma road (not allowed to enter from main gate) to go to the hostel since the road from College Gate 02 towards Ringpung and residential area is temporarily blocked for black topping. They will park their cars as per the direction of the Student Service Officers/Security Officials in the hostel area. In-case the boarder DE students wishing to drive their cars to the academic block from the hostel will strictly park their cars in the College football ground using Uma road (no DE students and other participants will park their cars in the main academic parking area or along the road side).
