Essay competition
Dear PCE students
With the shift in paradigm, the emphasis on the technologies as a modern means to address the contemporary need is important. While it is the device that we need it, there are challenges that need redressal. The following statement from the DHI:
Inspired by His Majesty the King’s emphasis on the importance of leveraging technologies to overcome our challenges as a nation, Thimphu TechPark is initiating a national essay contest to celebrate our beloved King’s 41st Birth Anniversary and raise awareness on the oncoming changes driven by technologies. We intend to make this an annual event henceforth.
And while His Majesty in his address:
“The world is changing rapidly. We cannot afford to avoid what we don’t yet understand and hope for the best. Such an attitude will cost us our national objective of self-reliance.”
If Paro college students could get to write an essay, it will be an advocacy of the ICT and also a brand of new learning which Bhutan is looking forward.
Though there are prizes attached, but we should write as an educator.
