The Bhutan Kidney Foundation in collaboration with Paro College of Education will organize an awareness programme to observe World Kidney Day on 12 March 2026 under the theme “Kidney Health for All Times.”
The programme aims to raise awareness among students and staff on the importance of maintaining kidney health, preventive care, and the significance of early detection of kidney related conditions. As part of the initiative, health screening services will be provided, including blood pressure measurement, urine tests, Random Blood Sugar (RBS), and Renal Function Tests (RFT)/kidney function tests for vulnerable individuals.
Interested students are encouraged to participate in the programme. Please note that participation will be limited to 250 students due to capacity constraints. Refreshments will be provided by the Bhutan Kidney Foundation.
