The morning gatherings/assemblies were suspended when the COVID pandemic began. Since then, we have not been able to resume these gatherings and the singing of “Jamyang Sol-dep.”
As a higher educational institution, and particularly as a teacher educator, it is really important that we immerse ourselves in the practice of intoning the morning “Jamyang Sol-dep” at least once a week. Such practices can have a tremendous impact on the lives of future teachers, who will then carry these practices into their schools.
During the CAC meeting, we discussed this idea, and it was well received by all members. The only concern raised was how to conduct the gathering. Since the academic timetable for this semester is already out, we have tried to schedule it during the off sessions for all students and coordinators.
With advice and guidance from the President, we have decided to involve only PLs and Deans in coordinating the morning gatherings.
The morning gathering will resume on Monday, 29th July 2024, at 11:00 am in Manjushri Hall 01. Therefore, we would like to request your presence.
