Welcome to the Autism Awareness Photo Challenge! This activity aims to raise awareness about autism spectrum disorder (ASD) through the power of photography. By participating in this challenge, you'll have the opportunity to capture meaningful moments and perspectives that celebrate neurodiversity and promote inclusion.

 Theme

The theme for this photo challenge is "Colouring Diversity: Embracing the Spectrum of Abilities."

We encourage you to interpret this theme creatively and thoughtfully in your photographs. Consider how you can capture moments that showcase the beauty of neuro-diversity, highlight the unique strengths of individuals with autism, and promote understanding and acceptance.

Instructions:  

1.   Capture Your Photos:   Take your camera or smartphone and explore your surroundings to capture photos that align with the theme of neurodiversity.

2.   Photo Selection:   Choose your best photos that you believe effectively convey the theme. You can submit up to TWO photos for the challenge, so select the ones that resonate with you the most.

3.   Submission Process: 

- Submit your photos at the designated station on the autism day (2nd April). Madam Tenzin Lekphel, Khandu Dorji and Sherub Tshomo will be there to collect your submission.

- Include your name, Phone number, and a brief description for each photo (hand written behind the photo)

4.   Gallery Display: 

- Your photos will be featured in a gallery display Wall.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the three individuals selected in through vote by audiences based on the following criteria.

  1. Accurate representation of ASD
  2. Creativity
  3. Story telling
  4. Technical quality
  5. Emotional Impact

1st prize = Voucher worth Nu.1000 plus gifts

2nd prize= Voucher worth Nu. 700 plus gifts

3rd Prize=Voucher worth Nu. 500 plus gifts
