Matters related to reporting of students to the College, online classes and other important information

Dear Students (Old and New),

I hope you are all well and good. The College Management would like to inform you of the following for your immediate planning and individual actions, given the persisting COVID situation in the country.

1. The Semester classes will commence on 28th February, as announced earlier.

2. Students will not have to report to the College for the classes until further notice and instruction from the College.

3. The classes will be offered online for all the programmes. Training for using VLE and zoom will be provided to the new students of the PgDE Dzongkha programme and the five M.Ed programmes at 2 p.m. on 24th and 25th February respectively.

4. The online mode of classes will continue only as long as required by the situation. Once the situation in the country stablizes reporting dates for the students will be announced.

5. The students in their final semester should be prepared to report to the College on 18th April tentaively even if the covid situation persist as now. However, this will be confirmed later.

6. Students will be paid their stipends with effect from 28th February.

7. Tutors will upload their semester teaching plans and initial learning materials on VLE by 27th February. Subsequent learning materials will be uploaded on VLE in a consistent and timely manner.

8. The Orientation programme for the new PgDE Dzongkha students will be conducted virtually on 24th February at 10 a.m.  to be followed by VLE training at 2 p.m. 

9. The orientation programme for the new M.Ed (Inclusive Education, Primary English, Primary Social Studies, Primary Science and Primary Maths) students will be conducted virtually on 25th Febraury at 10 a.m., to be followed by VLE training at 2 p.m.

10. The semester end examinations will be held from 13-20 June.
