Dear Finance Officer,
I would like to request you consider paying the final year students (who have just graduated) their monthly stipend till the 29th of July. The students had reported to college on 30th June to attend their classes and then to sit for their final examinations.
They finished their examinations by the 25th of July 2020, but had to compulsorily attend a workshop on ‘Life Skills Education’ funded by UNFPA from 26th to 27th July. Although students were allowed to leave by the 28th of July, the college had to consider sending them phase wise given the COVID-19 situation. Following the social distancing guidelines, students had to move out in smaller groups in the available transport services from Paro.
